Phillips Smith & Dunn are delighted to have been appointed by NG Homes to market Phases 2, 3 and 4 of the established and highly popular Tadworthy development in Westward Ho!
The Harbour is an impressive four-bedroom detached home, thoughtfully designed with reverse-level accommodation to make the most of its coastal setting while providing generous space for modern family living.
MORE PLOTS AVAILABLE – Contact Phillips Smith & Dunn’s New Homes department for further information or to arrange a viewing appointment.
Three generously sized bedrooms occupy the ground floor, offering flexibility for family, guests or those needing space to work from home.
Upstairs, an impressive open-plan living and dining area forms the heart of the home, providing a sociable setting for entertaining, family meals and relaxing. Direct access to a spacious terrace extends the living space outdoors, creating an inviting spot for alfresco dining or simply enjoying the coastal air.
A fourth bedroom with its own ensuite completes the upper floor, offering a comfortable retreat conveniently positioned alongside the main living accommodation.
Positioned off Golf Links Road, Tadworthy enjoys a superb coastal setting within a level walk of Westward Ho!’s expansive sandy beach, village shops, cafés, bars and restaurants, as well as Royal North Devon Golf Club.
From morning walks along the shoreline and an evening surf to a leisurely meal overlooking the Atlantic, this is a location where the coast can become part of everyday life. For those who enjoy exploring on foot, the dramatic cliffs at Abbotsham and Greencliff offer breathtaking coastal walks, with sweeping sea views and spectacular scenery along the South West Coast Path.
Nearby Instow combines a golden sandy beach with a bustling village community, welcoming pubs, excellent restaurants and a popular local deli. Fishing boats bob on the estuary, with views across the water towards Appledore providing a picturesque backdrop to a beach walk, a relaxed lunch or drinks as the sun sets.
The Tarka Trail runs through the village, offering scenic walking and cycling routes towards Bideford, Fremington and Barnstaple. During the operating season, a pedestrian ferry connects Instow with Appledore, making the journey across the estuary an enjoyable outing in itself.
Appledore has its own distinctive charm, with quaint fishermen’s cottages lining narrow, colourful streets that lead down to the Quay. Independent shops, a local deli, traditional pubs and excellent eateries, including award-winning dining, sit alongside a welcoming local community and a rich maritime heritage.
With so much to enjoy nearby, Tadworthy is an excellent choice for a second home, a UK base or a permanent family home, offering coastal living at its finest.
Built by a local family developer using established North Devon suppliers, Tadworthy offers opportunities to personalise selected finishes, subject to the plot and build stage.
Other plots and home designs are also available across the development, with a choice of accommodation to suit different requirements. Contact Kate, Ed or James at Phillips Smith & Dunn for current prices, availability and to arrange a site viewing.
